The Three Under: Life with one plus twins plus adventures in Europe

Our relocation agent directed me to Farrah’s humorous, happening, and very helpful blog for expat families! She writes about their family of five and their Europe adventures. They were recently featured on House Hunters International living in their village town home in Tilburg, Netherlands. Not only is she an active blogger, but she is a fan of Facebook and graciously answers any questions I have about our International move. We have a long ways to go with learning about our new surroundings and how things work here in Holland, but with technology we can acquire an incredible amount of information to succeed and make the most out of our move.

Motivational and Educational Books

about World War II history here in Holland

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom

A must read for not just a move abroad to the Netherlands, but for living out our faith courageously as Corrie Ten Boom and her family did during World War II. She tells a fascinating story that begins in Haarlem. My favorite character was her father, Casper, for his unconditional love he gave to all he met. My favorite quote was “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God” by Corrie Ten Boom.

The Winged Watchman by Hilda van Stockum

Great read for kids…especially boys in learning a little World War II history in Holland!

The Diary of Anne Frank

A world classic and must read! Then take your kids here in Amsterdam to uncover more of her world in the Secret Annex.
